Victory is sweet

Historically, Asa has hated the thought of sitting on his "potty". We ask if he would like to sit and the answer is always "No".

However, something changed last night. He said "Pee Pee" while pulling on his shorts by the bathroom implying "I gotta pee! Let me in the bathroom!" We complied. He sat on the toilet for like 5 minutes straining and pushing at the encouragement of his parents. Despite his best efforts, the toilet remained empty.

Today was a different story. Today we had a victory.

He did not want to sit on the toilet but when mom pulled out the skittles, he quickly sat down. Dev said "Go pee pee and I will give you a skittle." There was more pushing and straining. And then something glorious happened. He went pee pee in the potty. Not a lot but it was wet.

Victory is sweet.

Now it is on to teaching the kid to mow...
