Asa Talks

So we've had an explosion.

Like a "KA BOOM" explosion in the Chapman house.

Asa is a talker.

I feel like Asa woke up the other day and decided to be a chatterbox. Seriously. Ask him to say anything and he will give it his best shot.

For example, Thanksgiving was spent with my family in MP. Asa sees a toy train and yells "BART!" Me and Dev have heard him reference trains before as "bart" but we had no clue what he was talking about. So all weekend long, he called the toy train "bart". We were puzzled. I even did a little research for train's named "Bart" but came up with nothing. On Sunday Night, my mom heard him say "ALL BART" which she interpreted as "All Aboard". Then it hit us. On the Disney Channel, there is a lady singing by a train "ALL ABOARD THE CHOO CHOO TRAIN". Asa totally called the train all week long "All Aboard" or "Bart".

Another example just happened. Today was Asa's second birthday. We tested his talking by having his attempt to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". It was fantastic. Here is the video....



The kid had a good day complete with some of his favorite foods (bacon, berries, pancakes, cupcakes, etc). He even got the blow out his candle...a couple times.
