Our morning started out early today as Asa got up at 3 o'clock. I think it was b/c he was cold, so I put some long sleeves and big socks on him, then we read a book, played in the room, and tried to go back to sleep around 3:45. Although he was yawning, Asa wasn't happy about having to be put back to bed. Luckily he only cried for a few minutes and then woke up again at 8:30 AM (late for him). Funny thing about him waking up at 3 AM was that Adam had said in the Lamplight blog post "If you find yourself awake at 3 am... [pray for clinic]." Well, we did b/c we were awake! This afternoon we went to visit Omie and Opie. We decided to call them Grossa Omie & Grossa Opie, although that means "grand grandma" and "grand grandpa." Supposedly, great-grandmother in German is said, "urr-gross-mutter," so we opted for our own rendition.
